Stay Hotel Evora Centro

The location was perfect. The room was spacious, cozy, and had a great view.

Very good beds,. quiet and central location.

Brand-new and functional units with ferm beds. Attentive staff and particularly good and perfect location really close to Evora, Portugal for two nights -- September 23 and 24, 2008, and the centre of Evora. A carpark on the street provided.

the air-conditioning worked well and kept the room cool. not enough power outlets available.

Unfortunately there was mould in the bathroom. Room very old-fashioned and the mattress should be replaced.

The location is great: directly in the old town. There are parking facilities very close by, which can be very valuable. We had a large and comfortable three-bed room as a family. The breakfast buffet was also very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

The breakfast offered a good spread with bacon, eggs, and decent coffee, made for a satisfying start to the day. The bathroom included a bath, shower, and bidet, all with plenty of hot water for a refreshing experience.

The air conditioning unit struggled to cool the room effectively, even with it constantly running, leaving it warmer than expected. The bedding was lacking a proper cover, and the pillows were too large and uncomfortable, affecting sleep quality. The plumbing showed its age, and the toilet tissue disposal method was quite unsanitary with an open trash can. The lack of a fridge in the room meant having to purchase bottled water instead of cooling it down nearby, which isn't ideal considering the heat.

The location was great, you can visit Convent of Santa Clara by walking.

I enjoyed the hotel's excellent location. The staff were very attentive and responsive. I also appreciated the cleanliness of my modern room and the comfortable bed.

Parking situation was confusing.

Centrally located to all major attractions

We used the address on the booking confirmation as our GPS point of reference. This address directed us down hideously small alleys to the point we almost got our car stuck in an alley with a 90 degree turn. Note should be made on the website that it is best to park 2 blocks away until you have checked in, and then you can be directed to their parking area (which is away from the hotel).

The Reception staff were very helpful and we parked for free right outside the door, which was a great relief since parking was otherwise very difficult to find in the hotel area. The location was great for access to local interests and to eating places. Altogether very comfortable and convenient.

Access by car was difficult...very narrow street!
